Nopales! Prickly pear cactus pads. I use tongs to harvest to avoid getting irritating glochid hairs in my hands. A few years back we had planted a named variety of endive (aka chicory) in the front yard and let it go to seed. This year, one of the descendants, having taken on a more wild look, has grown into this glorious monster, full adorned with tons of beautiful blue flowers that open up each morning. #chicory #garden #plants #endive #green #frontyardgarden
